Before (Deep Focus) vs. After (Simulated Shallow Depth of Field)
In this exercise, I used the Field Blur tool in the Photoshop Blur Gallery to simulate a shallow depth-of-field effect. I placed a blur pin on the subject to maintain sharpness and added heavier blur pins to the background to create a sense of depth that wasn't in the original shot.
